Hello Dear Nair!

 Who is a Nair?

 Well, we’re never going to have a one-line answer to this question, right?

 Because, deep inside, every nair knows that he/she represents a culture of unmatched standards, a tradition that goes all the way back to the historical golden days, a lineage that used to be so pristine, which is somewhat conserved even today…

 We’d possibly be the clan that has contributed the most towards the sociocultural fabric and welfare of the state. We are hands down the community group that has contributed the most number of individuals who went on to become the pillars of the administrational and socio-economic structure of the nation from the state. Countless administrators, bureaucrats, businessmen, diplomats, leaders,  policymakers, artists, thinkers, scientists, reformers, performers and many more. We still continue adding to that endless list, although without taking much pride in it thanks to our collective attentiveness.

 But then, where are we today? Why have we lost steam? Is it not true that our current generation is not keeping up with the glory of the yesteryears? What happened to us? Remember, we as a community, never used to rest on our laurels? We’ve always had the leader’s tendency to outgrow the growth every time!

 As ‘Nair’, we’re supposed to lead. To be a leader is something that is written in our genes! Have our children realized it yet?
